PUFF PU

PUFF PU creates a raised or three-dimensional effect on the fabric.
It is thicker than regular HTV, and when it is heated, it expands to create a raised effect. The puff effect is achieved through the process of thermoplastic expansion, where the polyurethane material expands and puffs up when exposed to high temperatures.

PUFF PU gives the design a unique and eye-catching look. The puff effect is especially effective on designs with bold lines and shapes.

HOW TO USE

  • SET MATERIAL

    Feed the heat transfer vinyl material into the plotter machine hotmelt side facing up.

  • CUTTING

    Select an existing design or create yo ur own on the computer (NB : Design must be mirrored.)
    Change the machine settings according to the heat transfer vinyl material's conditions (If nsure, see the PDF provided above.)

  • WEEDING

    On a flat surface take a weeder and remove any parts of heat transfer vinyl not necessary for your design.

  • PREHEAT & POSITION

    The ideal heating, pressure and time conditions for press can be seen in the photo above.

  • HEAT APPLY

    Preheat the garment and arrange the weeded design in your desired placement and then press the heat transfer vinyl.

  • PEEL OFF CARRIER

    Gently remove PET film from the top side of the design.
